Marketing Analyst
November 2018-October 2019
Description: During my time in PharMerica's Marketing Department, I was in charge of creating, designing, and managing various creative initiatives and projects for the company. My responsibilities included creating, managing, and distributing internal and external marketing communications; managing content on PharMerica and ValueMed social media pages; researching and implementing SEO tactics to the website and social media pages; creating and managing production of print and digital ads for PharMerica and ValueMed; working with third party ghost writers to create articles for PharMerica's Learn page, designing various marketing and promotional materials, managing and responding in the department's generic email inbox, managing and supporting large scale initiatives in the department, and more.
These are some assisted living oriented sheets that explain the array of valuable services of ValueMed and PharMerica for communities and residents alike.
As a marketing analyst, I was also prompted to create numerous infographics relating to PharMerica's offerings and resources. The left image showcases PharMerica's care model for "at home" residents, the middle image showcases the elements of PharMerica's RxInsights, and the right image is an infographic promoting the readiness and preparation of PDPM for skilled nursing facilities.
These above images are some examples of some sell sheets I created for PharMerica's Sales Department to use to promote who we are, and our cost saving global authorization program.
Above are some digital ads I created to promote articles on ValueMed's Learn page that help educate senior living facilities and staff on current trends and practices in the industry.
I was in charge of creating the digital promotional materials for PharMerica's 2019 National Day of Hiring, and these are some graphics and banners I made to promote the event. These were posted on the National Day of Hiring's webpage, and on PharMerica's social media platforms to promote the open positions that PharMerica, and PharMerica affiliated companies, had available.
I was approached by a pharmacy director about any resources we had about promoting internships for pharmacy students in the area, and after only having 3 hours to compile information from the pharmacy, and design/ format the content, this is what I came up with. It was immediately approved and printed for mass distribution in the Glasgow pharmacy. Other PharMerica pharmacies across the country caught on, and asked for copies of this brochure with their pharmacy information as well.
I was tasked with creating lots of invitations for various PharMerica and ValueMed sponsored events and trade hows, and above are some examples of some invitations I designed for skilled nursing and senior living related events.
One exciting element of being a marketing analyst was designing materials for education events, and Transitioning to PDPM was one of the biggest campaigns and events we had in 2019. The first two images in the top row (left and middle) are the front and back of postcard invitations about our PDPM event that were created and sent to our sales department to distribute to their clients, as well as prospective clients who may see the event as beneficial to attend. The image on the right is a flyer that was also used to promote the event, and was both printed and mailed to prospective attendees to further distribute for event information. The second and third rows are digital ads that were posted to promote the Transitioning to PDPM webinars hosted by McKnights and Skilled Nursing News that were hosted b Leah Klusch and T.J. Griffin. Numerous other materials were created for this campaign (such as a "Know Before You Go" preparation guide for the event, sell sheets about PDPM prep, etc.), but these are the only ones that can be posted publicly due to HIPPA sensitive content being on the other items.
One of the first graphic design tests that I was given in my role was to design a brochure for an Antibiotic Stewardship Symposium event that was being hosted in Lubbock, TX. I only had 3 1/2 hours to create a brochure for this event, and this was the final product. The hosts of the event loved them, and they received lots of comments about how unique the brochure looked from attendees who mailed their RSVPs.
Above is a banner ad I created to be posted on some skilled nursing blogs and resources to promote our services that eliminate medication errors.
These are some social media posts to promote PharMerica employees who would be attending a largely known trade show to promote clients and prospects to stop by PharMerica's booth to say hello.
