Implementation Department Intern
May 2017-November 2018
Description: I was working at PharMerica doing different tasks for the Customer Service Department, and one of the sub-departments: the Implementations department. Tasks include event planning, logo design, graphic design work, analyzing reports, etc.
These images are theme ideas for a national conference that the Vice President of Customer Service along with some of the summer interns (including myself) created and planned. I was the one who took the ideas and created visuals to either excite or eliminate options. This significantly helped the process of deciding a theme, because it also sparked other ideas and discussion about current theme ideas and new theme ideas. The final choice and theme was "PharMerkiaFest: A Festival of Customer Service", and the logo used was the logo with the green border.
Vice President of Customer Service David Coronato created an idea of FOCUS, and made each letter represent an idea that he wanted to implement in his departments. Originally there was no graphic of the concept, and I decided to create a visual for the idea. I created the grayscale as the pitch, then made the brown warm scale to go with the booklet that was being made for the conference, then was finally asked to create the rainbow image to be made, published, and used company wide.
I was assigned the task of creating the booklet for the biannual leadership team meeting. While working on the booklet, I was also asked to help plan the meeting in all aspects, and evaluate the speeches given by each sub-department head. These pictures are an image of the rubric used when evaluating the speeches, and several pages of the booklet of the meeting.
As an Implementation Intern for PharMerica, I also did a lot of work for the Implementation Department. I was asked to create basic and advanced materials from nameplates for cubes, to typed up reports with strong visual components to make materials more appealing and readable.
