AP Studio Art can be taken by high school seniors in hopes of gaining college credit. In order to get credit, students must create a 29 piece portfolio labeling five pieces as "Quality" that are physically sent in, 12 pieces as "Breadth" that are submitted digitally, and 12 pieces as a "Concentration" of the student's choosing that is submitted digitally. The scoring system is scaled 1-5, most schools accepting a 3 as elective credit and a 4 as a fine arts credit (varies by college/ university).
